Electrical

Our electrical based products will help you whether you need your lighting automatically controlled by time clocks and/or photo controls. We also carry Ideal Wire Nuts and Sockets/Lamp Holders to make sure the job is done “right.”

Depending on the job size, either electrical timers or photo controls can be used to manage lighting on a small to massive scale with single or multiple units. Lights can be programmed to come on at a pre-determined time or with the change in natural light levels.

Electrical Timers: Designed for industrial, commercial and residential applications. All models carried are equipped with an on and off trip switch.

Some common applications of electrical timers include:

  • Indoor/Outdoor Lighting
  • Post Lanterns
  • Signs
  • Pool Heaters
  • Air Conditioning
  • Electric Fences
  • Pumps & Filters
  • Heating & Ventilating Systems
  • Fans
  • Conveyers
  • Music Systems
  • Parking Lot lighting

Photo Controls: Provide consistent day-to-day and season-to-season, turn-on/turn-off control for maintaining critical time of day light levels. Photo Controls are practical for some of the same applications as Electrical Times, but are typically used on a smaller scale.

Fluorescent Starters: Helps a lamp light up and are used in several types of fluorescent lights. The starter in a fluorescent lamp is a timed switch. It allows current to flow through the filaments at the tube ends when voltage is applied.

The most common fluorescent starter is a glow tube, or simply called just a starter. All starters are interchangeable in size and shape; however, the wattage rating of a starter should be matched with that of the fluorescent tube for maximum life and reliability.
